Diagnostic Laboratory Services, Inc. Chooses Phoenix Health Systems to Implement Data Replication and Disaster Recovery Solutions
Dallas, TX – July 29, 2008 – Phoenix Health Systems, Inc. (Phoenix), a national provider of healthcare strategic consulting, information technology (IT) outsourcing and revenue cycle management services, was recently selected by Honolulu, Hawaii based Diagnostic Laboratory Services, Inc. (DLS) to provide backup repository and remote data vaulting solutions.
As a follow up to a disaster recovery planning effort performed by Phoenix, the parties worked collaboratively to design a repository solution that would enhance existing backup processes. The solution will ensure that DLS’s critical health care data will be protected, with frequent and secure electronic replication to the Phoenix Leveraged Service Center in Richardson, Texas - a complete out of state data repository. In the event of a disaster, DLS’s data will be secure and can be restored once local services are restored.
