Texas Organization of Rural and Community Hospitals (TORCH) Awards Phoenix Health Systems Endorsed Vendor Status
Dallas, TX – March 18, 2008 – Phoenix Health Systems, a premier provider of integrated professional and technical services focused on the business goals of healthcare organizations, announced today that the Texas Organization of Rural and Community Hospitals Management Services, Inc. (TMSI) has awarded Phoenix Health Systems, Inc endorsed vendor status. Prior to endorsing a vendor, TMSI performs considerable due diligence to make certain the vendor is qualified to serve its membership.
TMSI endorsed vendors are a specially selected group of companies whose experience working with rural hospitals has undergone a thorough verification process. Phoenix Health Systems, with extensive experience in rural community hospitals, offers customized solutions, which maximize hospital information system investments, create a reliable IT environment, achieve administrative cost reduction, enhance cash flow, and improve patient safety. Phoenix Health’s integrated outsourcing and consulting solutions address both technical and business requirements in a holistic systems approach. Phoenix Health has the ability to define, price, and package solutions “realistically” for TORCH members with flexible capital and operational cost options.
“Our endorsement is especially important in today’s world of high tech solutions and government mandates that require hospitals to engage in technical services that may be unfamiliar to them,” said Rob Madsen, CEO of TMSI, Inc.. “We are confident that Phoenix Health is the right partner to provide our members with direction in this area.”
"We are proud to be endorsed by the TORCH organization," said Darin K. LeGrange, President and CEO of Phoenix Health Systems. "We believe investing in the success of rural hospitals is vital to the health care system in the community these hospitals serve. We recognize the privilege we have been extended and will maintain TORCH’s trust by providing meaningful, objective value to our clients through solutions that fit the rural healthcare model."
